You Can’t Miss with Dotted Swiss

This afternoon, Mr. Wonderful and I headed to the club with lunch on our minds. A bit warm but ever-modest, I found myself reaching for Summertime’s cardigan alternative ~ the dotted Swiss blouse.

This lightweight cotton fabric is comfortable and easy to care for.  Oh-so-feminine, it works beautifully over camisoles and tanks, offering sheer but tasteful coverage.

Paired with a cute skirt, sassy capris or khaki bermudas, dotted Swiss is a cool, classic look ~ and the perfect choice for the high heat of Summer.

Dotted Swiss blouse by Kim Rogers over Madison and Apostrophe camisoles, and JKLA cotton print skirt. White leather wedges via Cato. Vintage pearls and British Sweet Pea medallion worn with hand-wrought sterling compression bracelet. Nine West red leather cross-body bag, Rolf's metallic leather shoulder bag and golden Tignanello satchel.

Cute outfit, perfectly accessorized! I don’t know what it is about my body shape, but I cannot wear blouses or cardigans buttoned like that. I LOVE the look on other people (you look fabulous!), but it just looks ridiculous on me, so I always end up buttoning them all the way down. Or, lately, buying a closet full of open-front cardigans. Thank heavens for open-front cardigans!
