WU-Hoo!

Are you a fan of fashion?  Then check out the recent media buzz regarding the Jason Wu for Target Collection due in stores next month:

The decidedly ladylike pieces feature clean lines and classic cuts done up in an array of maritime colors.

Blouses, skirts, sundresses and more offer flattering silhouettes in sizes extra small through extra large.

If, like me, those sizes won’t suit you, then let Jason be your muse ~ or rather, your WUse. His new collection is filled with so many classics, you’ll be able to shop your own closet to mimic the line.

Pull out unfussy form-fitting pieces in navy, light blue, white, red and black (extra points for geometric prints and stripes). Grab a long, lightweight cardigan and a skinny belt. Add a few gold accents and (WU-hoo) you’ve got the look!

Here I am, sandwiched between two Wus, in a picture from the 2011 post You Can’t Miss with Dotted Swiss. Uh, Jase, just who’s WUsing who?

Check out the entire collection, including great bags and totes, here:  Jason Wu for Target Collection.

Loving the colors, but not digging the schoolgirl socks! Your pic is SO much better. I agree with using the ideas you love to put together your “look”. Sometimes I cut out the pics from magazines that inspire me (outfits, colors, jewelry… anything!) and put them in a small photo album. The album then goes into my purse when I head out to shop. I have all my “loves” right with me and can duplicate or emulate for SO much less!!!

    Thank you! 🙂

Oooh, I love the idea of a take-along album! I have a file on my computer desk top where I cull fave photos. Perhaps it’s time to store that file on my smart phone so I can take it along when I shop, too! GREAT idea!
