Shoe Girl’s Mid-Season Report (Fall 2011)

little blog announces the return of Shoe Girl,
now joining us with regular mid-season reports!

Shoe Girl here with a quick update of both the hottest and not-so-hot shoes of the season:

Comfort boots are where it’s at, and the Born “Sage” boots are flying off the shelves!  The crunched, full-grain leather upper gives these boots a vintage feel, but the covered buttons keep them modern.  Extended sizes are available!  With a steel shank and a heel height of under an inch, these boots will keep you warm and comfy all day, and even into the night!  Available in Black, Marrone, and Grey.  $189.99

Chinese Laundry’s “Haylie” pump is not doing so hot this fall, probably because it looks more like a spring shoe.  The chiffon upper and peep toe aren’t exactly friendly with the familiar chill of fall.  Keep your eye on these though, maybe they’ll get marked down and you can snatch them up for warmer weather!  Available in Blush, Bronze, Black and Leopard.  $89.99

This has been Shoe Girl with your mid-season report….  The cold weather is coming fast, but you have plenty of options, so happy shopping!

Shoe Girl's Alter Ego, Kelli Leach

Kelli is actually a crazy cat lady, but with good fashion sense.

She never misses an episode of Castle or Modern Family, and is very fond of naps.

In her spare time off the couch she enjoys keeping a diary, belly dancing at UNCA and going out on the town.

The words she lives by?  “Hakuna Matata.”
