I have no idea where it came from….
I was rooting around in my makeup basket, looking for a new tube of mascara, when I accidentally knocked over an aluminum cup ~ the one holding entirely too many eyeliners.
As I was corralling the kohls, I spied a bright stub of a pencil ~ just two-and-a-half inches long.
Lost in the mix, hiding in the bottom of the tumbler, I couldn’t be sure how long the product sample had been there. Oh, but the color was stunning…. And there was plenty of plastic protection…. So I cracked it open and tested the Electric blue waters.
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is easy on the eyes.
Rich and creamy, it goes on smoothly and remains malleable for a good thirty seconds ~ allowing you to bend, blend and smudge the color to your heart’s content.
Work quickly, though. Because once you hit the minute mark, that color’s not going anywhere.
Set, 24/7 is practically permanent and doing the kind of duty you never thought eyeliner could do. Go ahead: Rub your eyes. Your mascara might run scared; but 24/7 stands its ground.
The liner is impossibly saturated with pigment. “Electric” is a striking teal with an iridescent base that shimmers just under the surface.
Vivid, it’s not my usual eyeliner fare. But I was so taken with the hue and what it did for my own blue eyes when paired with pink (yes, pink) shadow, that I decided to explore further.

Urban Decay’s Grind House Double Barreled Sharpener, $10
I rushed right out to my local Ulta store and purchased 24/7 in Ransom (a deep, opalescent purple) and Lucky (a shiny copper). Wow.
The full size pencils run $19 per .04 oz stick ~ and are worthy every penny.
Formulated for comfortable application and enduring wear, you’ll need a quality eye makeup remover to take off 24/7.
You’ll also need the special go-with grinder to keep your pencil pared.
No parabens; no sulfates; no fragrance. Yeah.

You know, I was just in Sephora on Tuesday and must have been in a mood because I just got overwhelmed and didn’t buy a thing! Now I have something to go back for! 😉
I concur! These are really great eyeliners. I have a couple of them and I love them.
Two veteran beauty bloggers can’t be wrong! ;-D
I have used Cargo brand waterproof eyeliners (called Swimables, I believe) and loved them, but they are SO hard to find. They seem to be a limited edition that Cargo puts out only in the Spring, and they sell out very quickly. So, I am going to try these by Urban Decay! I don’t do eyeshadow very well (I have a scar that runs across one eyelid, and most eyeshadow, unfortunately, just ‘enhances’ the scar), so I love using different eyeliner colors! Thanks for the info!
Oh, and on the outerwear poll… if it’s cold enough, my very favorite is my heavy, hooded, 100% wool cape (purchased at a renaissance fair many years ago 😉
