Create a Brow-Ha-Ha

Find Your Shape

Your brow should begin directly above the inner corner of your eye.

To find your peak point, place a pencil along the outer edge of your nose, extend it over the iris and across the brow.  The point of intersection with the brow is where the highest part of your arch should be.

To find your end point, keep the pencil next to your nose and shift the top of the pencil to the outer edge of your eye.  The point of intersection with the brow bone is where your eyebrow should end.

Make it Happen

Use good tools and quality products.  Tweeze in natural light.  Remove only the strays.  Carefully trim long hairs with small, straight scissors.

To fill, brush brow hair down (this will allow you to see the natural hair line).  Use a powder or pencil that is a shade lighter than your natural brow color.  Apply short, light strokes.

To finish, brush brows up and set with brow gel, clear mascara or just a bit of hairspray applied with a disposable spoolie brush.

Sonia Kashuk Brow Groomer and Joan Rivers' Great Hair Day

* Joan Rivers’ Great Hair Day is a fill product designed to supplement thinning hairlines.  It works great on brows as well (the color options are fab; and the product itself is long lasting and features a lovely, light floral scent).  For best results use a short, stiff, angled brush with a fine line of bristles.
