Cat’s Caboodle ~ Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream

There are a few things you should know about me: I love a good multitasking product, I adore Josie Maran’s argan oil line, and I am obsessed with keeping my skin and hair well-moisturized.

If you’ve ever spent half an hour or more with me in person, you’ve seen me digging my lip balm and/or hand cream out of my purse at least once for a quick application.

So when I received Sephora’s promotional email letting me know Josie Maran’s new Argan Infinity Cream was available, I immediately ordered two.

This is a petrolatum free (yay!) creamy oil, meaning it comes out of the tube as a cream and melts into an oil on your skin.  There are a multitude of uses for this product.

Use it as a facial moisturizer, eye cream, lip balm, hand cream, cuticle treatment, brow tamer, frizz controller, split end treatment, eczema or rosacea remedy, sunburn soother, blendability aid for lip and cheek stains, to turn a powder eyeshadow or blush into a cream (dab a bit on the back of your hand, add powder product, blend, apply), to hydrate rough heels or elbows, or for just about any other purpose you can think of.

I recently used it to keep a new tattoo moisturized and it worked like a dream.  It also works beautifully to help heal up blemishes that you may or may not have picked at (not that I would ever do such a thing and you have no proof).

Basically, Argan Infinity Cream is a wonder product in a sleek little tube.  Not too little, though.  It’s 2.2 ounces, which is a pretty generous size, especially since you need to use very little product at a time, but it’s still petite enough to fit easily into most any handbag.

There is a light citrus scent that dissipates quickly and probably won’t offend most noses, even ones that are sensitive to fragrances.

It does leave an oily residue, which I know some people just don’t want to deal with, but it absorbs within a minute or two and I don’t find it to be a problem at all.

I’m glad I ordered online as soon as this product was available, because I was at my local Sephora store on Saturday and when I checked the Josie Maran display, the Argan Infinity Cream was completely out of stock and the tester was empty.

This would be a great desert island product and it’s one I don’t plan on being without any time soon.
