May You Always…

BirdWithTulipsHappy May, my little blog peeps!

I hope this little love note finds each of you well, enjoying the return of all things green.

As Springtime settles in, this lovely little song by Larry Markes and Dick Charles sums up my every wish for you….

May You Always

May you always walk in sunshine,
Slumber warm when night winds blow.
May you always live with laughter,
For a smile becomes you so.

May good fortune find your doorway.
May the bluebird sing your song.
May no trouble travel your way.
May no worry stay too long.

May your heartaches be forgotten;
May no tears be spilled.
May old acquaintance be remembered,
And your cup of kindness filled.

And may you always be a dreamer.
May your wildest dream come true.
May you find someone to love,
As much as I love you.

To celebrate Spring, little blog is giving away this charming memento!

By Fossil, this delicate polished steel necklace features two tiny charms ~ a crystal-studded horseshoe (upturned, of course, to keep the good luck from spilling out) and a darling four leaf clover, accented with a single crystal.

I love May and all the pretty things that come with the new month. The flowers, the weather, and the colors in spring clothes. And all the sparkly things! This is always a great time of year!

Same deal as usual… if I win, I will prominently display the aforementioned Jewelry somewhere upon my personage (precise location currently under debate) at the next major LB Event. Huzzah!

I’m not sure which is sweeter, the post or the necklace! I love the dogwoods and redbud trees that signal the arrival of spring. And groundhogs, I love groundhogs.

What a sweet song, thanks!! I love all the love in the air. The birds darting around are like a scene from Bambi!

Only 6 comments? That must change…

It used to just be the plants starting to pop up. The way the smells changed. The way the light changed. There was a time that that was enough. Now that I’ve gotten sick, it’s the promise of warmer, drier temperatures, ensuring that I will be able to do more w/my son outside. We have a garden, & plant every yr in May. Spring means that it won’t be long before I can spend every day outside, gardening or riding my bike w/my son. I live for late spring & summer. Every single day is so enjoyable for us.

I like bright colored dresses and ice cream! And flowers!

Spring means the lake in my backyard will be warm enough so we can go swimming soon. I’m in Michigan, so “soon” and “warm enough” are relative terms, but in the meantime, there are lots of other fun things to do outside now that it stopped snowing (we had sleet on Mother’s Day). Over the winter, I forget how beautiful all the flowers in my yard are, then all of a sudden – color everywhere!

  11. Gabrielle says

Ok, yeah. The rain. I forgot about the rain in spring. Not so much in the “liking” department…

  12. Pam says

I love listening to the birds sing. 🙂

I love the feeling that the good weather is just beginning. No more snow, and a nice long summer yet to come! 🙂

I like spring because I get to go letterboxing again!

I love the temperatures, the birds playing around the yard, watching plants continue where they left off last fall before they’re frozen slumber of winter. For the first time in my adult life I have a yard and I’m really enjoying this gardening thing. I get to sit by this giant half-moon shaped window overlooking my little haven everyday and I enjoy every second of it. And not too long from now, the fireflies will start their amazing light show.

  16. Susan says

I love hearing different birds singing. Even on grey and rainy days in Oregon, they will be singing.

Also, there is more chance of letterboxing without rain!

What I like best about spring is that it’s so GREEN. Green green green! Bright, fresh, spring green. Summer green is too hot, but the green of spring is just right.

  18. I love watching for bee swarms to collect, and the local bees have colonized a hollow apple tree.

  19. Gabrielle says

Sparkly things. They are great in spring.

a peep out of you
